LabelsPlus has always taken its social responsibilities seriously. Since inception we have a proud tradition of supporting all kinds of charities be they multinational, national or local.
Our latest donation was to a very worthwhile local charity called Blythe House. Our contribution will be used entirely for the services provided by Blythe House for anyone in the High Peak community living with or affected by cancer or other serious life-threatening illness.
A BIT ABOUT BLYTHE HOUSE
Established in 1989 by Rev’d Betty Packham, Blythe House is an independent registered charity. The hospice moved into its current, purpose-built centre in 2000 and has subsequently been extended twice to meet the ever increasing need for their services.
Blythe House Hospice, based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire, offers free, individualised, holistic care and support for anyone in the High Peak. Discovering what’s important, being offered practical help and advice and exploring new ways of coping enables people to live their lives to the full through an often difficult and stressful time. Clients are welcomed as guests and a range of group or individual services is available for them, their carers, family and friends. Support groups such as Carer’s Day, Stepping Stones, Breast Care and Circle of Friends meet on a regular basis.
Without the help and support of local people and businesses, we could not provide vital services to our clients.
