Guide Dogs For The Blind have just 105 guaranteed places for runners of their choice to run the 2016 London Marathon on their behalf. They have chosen me as one of their runners and have kindly guaranteed me a place.
I actually don’t particularly like running, but it’s something I do to keep fit. I get no real pleasure out of the actual activity. Until i’ve finished, that is! 😃
However I have decided to try and run The London Marathon in 2016. I want to raise funds for Guide Dogs For The Blind as I sometimes feel this charity does not get the support it certainly deserves.
I often see a lady in a local village with her Guide Dog and think that if it was not for this charity she would be housebound.
I will be paying all my own expenses travel, hotels etc etc. Every single penny I raise will go straight to my charity.
Please support me and help me achieve my fund raising target. If nothing else it will make you feel happier with yourself.
