What A Truly Superb Team We Are Fortunate To Have

As a company we are so fortunate to have the quality of staff that we have. As the old cliche goes “there is no I in team”

As soon as it became apparent that our Whaley Bridge office would have to be evacuated for the duration of the incident at Toddbrook Reservoir all our staff really did show their “true colours”

Everybody who was asked to work out of our Ipswich office did so without any complaints. In fact the reverse was the case. Every single person was enthusiastic to help us with this potentially damaging situation

Cars were hired, train tickets booked as were hotel rooms. It was truly a team effort

Even our staff who were on days off or on holidays were happy to have their work emails diverted to their personal mobiles so that they could continue to work from home

We are so proud of you all and we are very fortunate to have the caliber of staff that we have

Even our customers were impressed. Please see below just two from a number of nice comments we have received

“Hello Emmie,

I hope this email finds you well, and that you and your colleagues at Macclesfield Road, Whaley Bridge, will soon be allowed to return to your business premises.

I am writing to thank you and your colleagues (not forgetting those in production!) for doing such a sterling job with my labels. They were delivered this morning by DPD and look great. I want you and your colleagues to know that I am truly impressed by how you managed to keep “the show on the road” despite the many challenges presented by the unforeseen emergency at Whaley Bridge Dam. Very impressive! Please pass on my sincere thanks to everyone”.

Until next time

Kind regards

David

Hi Emmie, Alison, Charlotte, Janine,

The stickers have arrived today and they are just beautiful – we are so happy with them 😊 Thank you all so, so much for being able to process our order through your excitements, and for creating such gems for us!

Sophie, Chris and all the Ulula team

The only member of staff who was a bit perplexed was our Head Of Security Tommi. As you can see from the photo below he wasn’t sure what his best role was. Should he stay in Whaley Bridge and look after our office or should he travel down to Ipswich and protect everybody who was working out of our office there?

What a quandary!
