IT PAYS TO PRAISE

Back in June 2011 LabelsPlus Director Mark was playing (very badly) a round of golf at Cavendish Golf Club, where he is a member. If you remember back to the summer of 2011 it was a particularly bad one, and this June day was a particularly bad day amongst a summer of bad days.skycaddie_sgx

Mark had not long since brought a SkyCaddie Rangefinder. This devise uses GPS to let the golfer know how far away he is at any given time from the golf hole or hazards on the golf course. Well it was absolutely raining Cats & Dogs and eventually something had to give, it did, his SkyCaddie Rangefinder got soaking wet through in his pocket and died on him. This was the point at which Mark walked off the golf course,soaked to the skin, in a bad mood and kicking himself for letting his expensive Rangefinder get wet!

When he had eventually dried out he rang SkyCaddie customer service who asked him to post the devise back to them, which he duly did. It was a great shock to him when 4 or 5 days later a brand new device arrived in the post. Not only was it brand new but all the golf courses he had downloaded on his original one had actually been put on the new device for him. So impressed was he that he emailed SkyCaddie to thank them for their wonderful service. Low and behold a few days later, SkyCaddie Managing Director Jaqui Surman got in touch with Mark and asked him to quote on some printed-on-roll labels for them. This led to an order. The 2 companies have enjoyed a great working relationship ever since!

WHEN YOU’RE IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE YOU GET, IT REALLY DOES “PAY TO PRAISE”
